YuanChing Dragonboat.

Yuan Ching Dragon Boat was formed in 2006 with the aim of utilizing the availability of Jurong Lake to build up a water-based CCA. The membership has been increasing over the years and we have also purchased our very own 10-men and 20-men crew boats. Our twice weekly training includes land and water training which comprises of both dragon-boating and kayaking for cross training. Other than the Inter-School Dragon Boat competitions, we are venturing into Indoor Rowing Machine competitions.

KALLANG TRAINING

Dear dbters this would be the schedule for all trainings at kallang :

                              BOYS
0730-0800    Launch Boats
                      ( 1st Hour: warm up + run )
0800-0900       Land
0900-1000   (2nd hour: 5 sets x [10 chin up+ 20 push ups + 30 sit ups] )
1000-1100   (3rd hour: static exercises)
1100-1200      Water
1200-1300       -
1400-1430    Return boats

                     GIRLS
0730-0800 Launch Boats

Reminders:

Do not leave any of your belongings behind or it will be thrown away

Be punctual for training or else punishments would be executed .

Take your breakfast before training to prevent from lack of glucose .
Attire should be pe shirt and shorts, tucked in .
Bring some snacks along and try not to bring sweets

If your friends want to come down on sunday's race to give us support, tell them to give their names to Gopi by Thursday so that he can inform Ms Chew.

Sunday's race @ Marina Barrage:
Reporting time - 10.35 am at school foyer
Attire - Dragonboat singlet with PE shorts
Grooming - Fingernails, hair.
And no transport back to school.
Bring limited valuables.
No food is provided so please have a heavy breakfast and bring some snacks if you want.
The event will end at around 4.

Yuan Ching Dragonboat Outing 2009

Dear Dragonboaters,

There will be a gathering for all members to mark the end of 2009.

Date: 30th Dec, Wednesday
Time: 0830h at lakeside MRT control station (latecomers, as usual!)
Final venue: Sentosa
Remarks: BYOF (Bring your own food), extra clothings, cash, Ezlink, water bottle, toiletries.
Optional items: Beach volleyball/frisbee/football/mat (non-contributers, as usual!)

No consent forms will be given as this is not a school event. It will just be an ad-hoc gathering.
